Numbered Control Knobs Adjust Both Rebound (12 Positions) and Compression (6 Positions)!
The shock absorber is machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum stock, which provides superior heat dissipation, maximum strength and quality appearance. Special features include: easy-to-set damping adjustments, an internally-vented oil chamber which protects the top seal from excess pressure and stops leakage, nitrogen gas charging for fade free damping and consistent operation, and hydraulic anti-topping. Internal, three-stage valve control automatically accommodates variations in sudden shock impulses for consistent damping under all speed conditions. The bottom-threaded nut makes for easy changes in spring preload to adjust ride height. A 9/16-inch piston rod and specially designed piston operating in an inner steel cylinder, assure rugged, dependable service. Assembly and spring changing are simple-a press is not required.
Valving:
All shocks are valved for either street (light) or road race (stiff)
Typical springs for street set up are 300 lbs front springs & 250 lbs in the rear
90% of our packages are set up that way. We have a few twin turbo cars running 300 lbs in rear & 300 in front.
Springs are cold wound, chrome silicon wire then powder painted gloss black. Chrome springs are available as an option. All springs are color coded reflecting the amount of weight necessary to compress the spring one inch.
SHOCK ADJUSTMENT This adjustable shock has six valve damping positions, so you may dial in the ride you like. To increase firmness, rotate the adjusting knob (located at the top of the shock absorber) clockwise. When the knob is rotated all the way out (counterclockwise), the shock damping is at its softest setting.

Note, this modification is simple & easy & does noty change the structial integrity of the A arm, hundreds of these assembelies ave been sold world wide & installed since the early 90's
